The problem
A rapidly growing consultancy with expert consultants spread across four UK offices faced a challenge familiar to professional services firms: its value was tied closely to the knowledge and relationships of individual people. Scaling that expertise while keeping the quality and personal service it is known for was the central problem.
What I did
- Ran a structured AI Opportunity Review across the firm’s service lines: CDM, Building Safety Act, training and site safety support.
- Held leadership interviews and a structured workshop with the senior team.
- Identified where AI could improve consultant productivity and knowledge management, and create better outcomes for clients.
What changed
- AI Opportunity Review completed across all four UK offices and 7+ service lines.
- AI strategy and prioritised roadmap confirmed by the board.
- Quick wins identified across the CDM and Building Safety Act service lines.
- Knowledge management strategy developed to scale consultant expertise firm-wide.
